FOUR CONCEPTS OF THE PROGRAMME:
Authority– This program helps pupils and students
- distinguish between the authority and abuse of power
- explore different sources of authority
- use reasonable criteria for selecting people for positions requiring authority
- use reasonable criteria for evaluating rules and laws
- analyze the benefits of authority and the price for exercising the authority
FAIRNESS– This program helps pupils and students
- understand and use basic principles of justice embodied in the fundamental documents of our political and legal system
- use of fair access for the removal of injustice and inequity
- use of fair procedures in gathering information and deciding
- evaluate, formulate and defend positions on issues of justice
RESPONSIBILITY– This program helps pupils and students
- understand the importance of responsible behavior in a free society
- analyze the benefits of liability and the award for responsible behavior
- evaluate, formulate and defend positions in which we find ourselves in the event of a clash of responsibilities
- evaluate, formulate and defend positions of personal responsibility
PRIVACY– This program helps pupils and students
- understand the importance of privacy in a free society
- analyze the benefits of privacy and the privacy cost
- evaluate, formulate and defend positions on the proper level of privacy
