Informed, active and responsible citizens is an essential precondition for any free democratic society. Civic Association CIVITAS - CZ aims to encourage and develop citizenship education programs focused on education of responsible citizens and develop skills necessary for active participation in the development of civil society.

Civic Association CIVITAS - CZ aims to implement and support programs for teachers and students to enable understanding of the principles and basic values behind the democratic society and its institutions.

It also offers representatives from the premises and conditions for teachers to communicate, exchange experiences, as well as multilateral cooperation with government, NGOs and professional institutions, schools, public and representatives of international organizations of similar focus in particular on education for responsible citizenship in a democratic society.

Civic Association CIVITAS - CZ cooperates in successful projects of education for democratic citizenship and intercultural education with foreign non-governmental organizations in international exchange program CIVITAS:
