Reflections of the Seminar (Examples): I learned that democracies are different and much of what makes them different are variable, such as culture and history. I now have a greater understanding of how democracies evolve. Having gained a deeper understanding of democracy in the Czech Republic gave me a deeper understanding of democracy in the U.S. I also learned that what Czech values in democracy are different and the same as the values in the U.S.
